Job Description - Internal IT Sales Specialist
Routeco IT is looking for a dynamic, self motivated sales person to join our group sales team. This role will be responsible for the aggressive development of our portfolio offer throughout our national customer base.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in sales and a passionate desire to deliver. We are looking for an energetic self-starter with a direct sales approach, who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing our client base. This results-driven individual will work closely with our group sales team to maximise opportunity within our existing accounts.
Candidates MUST have a strong sales ethos and an understanding of the IT market; direct experience would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively grow, and maintain our IT portfolio offer to our account base
- Engage with our group accounts to maximise potential
- Generate new sales leads and opportunities
- Identify and understand trends within our markets and industries
- Hit revenue targets
- Pitch new business to clients via the phone
- Update and create sales proposals
Qualifications:
- Applicable sales and account management experience
- Proven track record of success, driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
- Demonstrable track record of structuring and managing negotiations to successful closure via phone based methods
- Understand technology issues and display ability to explain in ordinary terms
IT Product and Service Training will be provided.
